Requirement / Problem Statement
The number of products we use at home for our everyday chores has increased manifolds, thus every product that is designed now should be flexible enough in its capacity to occupy least amount of space and at the same time deliver maximum performance.
It all comes down to how a large product is to be designed occupying very less space when not in use.
Conceptual Design
The ladder should be able to be folded into single pole like structure in its design such that it would open into a ladder structure when needed, and closed inside to a pole when not in use. So the idea is to design this ladder to occupy a very less space keeping it folded when unused.
Working of the proposed Design
The design of this ladder is to have foldable ladder rungs into one slide of the ladder’s inner space, running with a roller like mechanism from the other side of the ladder so that the components are not separated and collapsed and fixed against while in use.It is just that the ladder rungs fold into one side interiorly and the other end also close into the first side closing the ladder rungs’ space.
