Midsummer Night's Dream Project was the final result of my college dissertation. The reaserch was called "Functional Costume For Shakespeare's Theatre Play: Midsummer Night's Dream" and it revolved around the needs of the theatre actors to have functional costumes designed for their characters in order to minimize their time spent backstage and their ability to move fast into consecutive scenes. 

The costumes presented on this editorial were designed for the character Hermia, and represented in three fases the character goes through in the lenght of the storyline. 

All the costumes transform into one another, with techniques for improving fast movement and resistant materials that suit the behind-the-scenes of the theatre universe.
