She moves slowly, effortlessly and every breath she takes is considered. The simplicity of the outdoors is craved constantly, yet she harnesses that need, and infuses it into her artwork. Her mind and hands are always working together to create new forms. She is predictable in the sense she knows what she wants, yet she makes bold fashion statements, always listening to her internal senses.

 

“Bis” is a women’s wear collection designed towards the artistic soul. Originally inspired by rock formations and textures, I explored further to examine the idea of clothes as a vessel for the body. The designs aim to not merely hide the body, but to encapsulate it, and to create sculptures in the round.
