LOOKOUT-POINT
We placed an installation on the selected hillside that appears sculpted and well adapted to the natural environment. The height of the installation is determined by the topography. The assemblage has a lot of points of views, the space around it influenced and defined by the structure.
SIGN
The main components are the wood poles, which seems to be random at first placement.
Based on its thickening and orientation marking the site from where the installation can be understood. Attracts
attention and stimulate to thinking about its meening and explore to find the concept of the whole structure.
The pattern of the structure become interpreted when one have arrived on the top of the hill.
PLATFORM
A square-formed concrete block is located on the hillside. Standing on it the painted tops of the piles showing the outlines of the former fort and the Roman road.
IMPRESSION
Approaching to the structure the shape of the elements is constantly changing. It’s exciting to walk inside of the installation, the various height and density of the columns makes different attitudes.
