FLUPP is a literary festival that brings national and international authors to favelas (slums). Rio de Janeiro’s alternative literary festival consists on exhibitions, debates and workshops dedicated to bringing the pleasures of reading to unprivileged audience. For the 2013 festival identity, the challenge was to create a campaign to help bridge the gap between favela residents and the city while speaking to both children and adults from such different backgrounds.
