THE BRIEF
End to end garment development of capsule catwalk collection based on and inspired by the word 'Truth' for Melbourne Fashion Week 2018.
'Truth' led me down the pathway of reflecting on how society views ‘The Different’ by creating stereotypes and opinions based on first impressions which are not always the truth.
The collection juxtaposes the Melbourne Sharpies sub-culture of the 1970’s with the gender specific fashion of the 1800’s to redress societies assumptions.
