Every year ISIA Roma Design organizes the Design Week event with a view to have visibility in the North-East Italy area. This event has the ability to unite: to bring together business men, men who haver training and research, schools, students of different istitutions, so different cultures and even different placements towards life, coexistence, of the future tu build.
During the DesignWeek 2013 we’ve collaborated with “IL CANTIERE”. In architecture and interior design field this company is recognised as being the best interpreter of UHPFRC (ultra-high-performance fibre-reinforced-concrete) worldwide.
With “Tongue”, the project I developed during this edition of the DW, I took the 2nd place at the competition “Pordenone, arreda la tua città” organised by Aquanova association with the theme ‘urban furniture’.

“Tongue” is a modular system of variable axes connected by junctions.
It creates structures that can be freely experienced, in an unconventional way; Tongue opens to new ways of sharing common grounds, encourages the interaction between people and promotes the relationship with the
environment. The order of displayed episodes can be changed by simply turning the pages around the past and create new stories!
