I was integral to numerous generations of design and user research for T-Mobile's Wi-Fi calling mobile app and corresponding wireless router setup experience, for those users replacing a router at the same time. Presented below - in reverse chronological order top to bottom - are a series of representative snapshots which convey design evolution of the app as it spread across platforms, and a couple point in time launched versions of the router UI. This goes all the way back to feature/flip phones.
Note: Designs are shown in reverse chonological order.
Continual re-invention and simplification across many generations of phones, platforms, and associated visual styles.

In stores, a T-Mobile router was also sold with a simplified UI for any customer who purchased a Wi-Fi calling enabled phone. Router UI was completely user and call center data driven to simplify setup experience and allow easy Wi-Fi calling at home.
