Design a serif italic display version of the famous Gill Sans, this was our brief!
We worked on the calligraphic origins of the italic, maintaining the slight slant of Gill Sans Italic. The team focused on tension to create a modern italic with strong features. We created a few swished letters to emphasize the adactable mood of a display font.
