DAKOTA is a typeface created as a tribute to Dakota Crescent, one of Singapore's oldest public housing estates that will soon be vacated to make way for new developments. DAKOTA takes inspiration from the estate's many intricate and fine details as well as its edgy geometric forms. The typeface is crafted within a hidden double perspective grid that was inspired by the Dakota Crescent's many facades.
