Adobe Originals AAAA Wall

The "AAAA wall" was created using 20 typefaces in the Adobe Originals collection and spans 3 walls in the San Francisco office.
The overlapping pattern was created in celebration of type at Adobe, and plays on the differentiation between the letterforms. The pattern extends out in stripes on the two side walls in an effort to be less distracting for the employees that sit facing them.

Originally the concept for this pieces was to highlight the nuances of the different typefaces just within a single letter. This study separates the a's from serifs and sans serif typefaces.
One of the original color studies. I decided to go with bright colors to enliven the office environment and create a greater sense of play between the letterforms.
