This was my project that I made for Halloween 2014, obviously inspired by the game Dark Souls by Fromsoftware. 

 

Man did this thing suck a lot of energy out of me, but man was it worth it for the most part. A lot of time, redrawing, patterns on the cloth and just general forming of this picture. 

 

So what is all in this poster then? Well essentially the scarier or spookier enemies and even bosses that you can fight in the game of Dark Souls. Curved sword wielding Skeletons, Humanity stealing Darkwraiths, invincible Ghosts, giant Murokumo Skeletons, Necromancer Pinwheel, the ever so dreaded Bonewheel Skeletons. And the spookiest skeleton of them all, Gravelord Nito. And yourself, the knight that realizes how screwed he is without a lantern and can only see 5 feet ahead of himself. 

 

Granted, I wish I had started this project sooner and simply produced it in Photoshop rather than in Paint Tool SAI for better actual photomanipulation and editing that SAI just cannot do. Also just to make it look a bit better with possibly light cracks in the bones, cloth texture on the armour and several other things. Along with the fact my poor little laptop froze and overheated several times during the process. Oh well, always next year. 

 

Oh, and did I mention that this is a full 11x17 at 300 DPI. So if anybody is so inclined go ahead and print it out.
