Bårdar Dance Institute offers countless dance classes to suit all ages, but also offers vocational training in the performing arts. This study aims to educate musical artists and dancers at a professional and international level. I chose to develop a new brand identity that spoke to the institution`s current state, offerings and values.

Concept
This identity is based on Rudolf von Laban dance notation, also called “labannotation.”The idea came with Bårdars slogans; “Never stop moving.” This slogan describes Bårdar as a dance academy in constant motion. The strategic basis was therefore to play on the school’s historical grounding as a dance school and create a visual solution based on dance notation; also called choreology.
