This work was a research part of my final university project for the London Headquarters European Organization for Nuclear Research. The work consists of the key information that have influenced my design process and led to the final apperance of the building. Starting from the short site analisys of Hatton Garden, London, the project covers CERN history, explains the nature of the scientific research as well as the global spread of information generated by the Large Hadron Collider. The project also briefly covers a history of science and its different faces dependent on a subjective understanding of the surrounding world.
