The Freightliner CNG Tour traveled across the nation from LA to DC, on a mission to prove that it was possible to cost-effectively cross the country on CNG fuel while showcasing the Freighliner CNG vehicle. At the time of this campaign, the up and coming infrastructure of CNG fuel stations was perceived as nationally "weak" by the trucking industry, and therefore considered impossible to cross the country on CNG. However, this campaign helped dispel those thoughts by crossing the country in 7-days exclusively on CNG. Freightliner's social media channels followed the tour in real time and engage audiences along the way with updates from the road, a guess the fuel savings contest and by providing information about CNG fuel and its cost-savings.

• Promote and bring awareness to the CNG Tour launching at the Alternative Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo
• Educate and socially engage drivers on the nation's infrastructure for CNG stations and Freightliner's CNG product
