I wanted the Venta Windows brochure to be architectural in feel, so decided to use the grid as a metaphor for constructions.
My solution was to “build” the design so that it gradually reveals its own supporting architecture - a grid of vertical columns and horizontal fields. This idea is developed throughout the brochure and its various supplements, including newsletters in which the baseline grid is exposed. I also introduced a variety of illustrative elements, juxtaposing them with clean, abstract grid to emphasize the relationship between man-made and natural structures.
