Generally i’m not a fan of old school typefaces, the only notable exception being Alegreya, which I soon discovered to be secondary to the mighty Garamond. Garamond makes it very easy to build graphical pieces, with its extensive character set and awesome floral dingbats not leaving me much to want for— even the numerals are beautiful, and I’ll be honest, I haven’t even checked out the ampersands or the cyrillic characters yet, but I’m willing to bet they’re going to be incredible too.
