Final Look
I have done quite a bit of work within UDK, below is a multiplayer death match level that I made using it. The map is designed for six players and was built with the philosophy of keeping the match short and intense. This is explained more in the paper plan at the bottom of this post.
 
All art elements were provided by Unreal and were not created by me, I was responsible for their placement.
Paper Plan
I wanted the players to be in combat almost all the time, however I didn't want them dying all the time and feeling frustrated. So, I placed cover in all sections of the map, some sections players use elevation for cover, in over areas they have rocks or pillars.
