A portrait of the Elvenking of Eryn Lasgalen, Thranduil, set in a future Spring after The Greenwood has been cleansed of evil.
I tied in a number of book and movie elements, like the necklace of silver and pearls that Bilbo gifts to him, the shape of his Elvan elk mount's antlers in the frame, and a re-imagining of his iconic crown for a more floral season. Each of the flowers are ones that grow in forests as are the bird and butterflies. The text at the bottom is Thranduil's name written in Tengwar, Sindarin mode (if it is incorrect feel free to let me know!)
I'm a huge fan of this character and I hope I did it justice!
