Hand shredded fabric and painted pattern study that is used for the digital pattern making process. 

An example of how a section from the original hand-made pattern study is used to form a new computer generated pattern.

First prototype to see how the pattern can be made dimensional. Rather than paying for a software in order to visualize the pattern in 3d, I printed it out and played with the different ways to make an object. 

The basic unit for making the 3d object for visualizing the pattern.
