isogloss, n.
/aizoglas/
A line on a map marking an area having a distinct linguistic feature.

ISOGLOSS explores the way language changes depending on when, where and in what context it is used through three books entitled Time, Place, and Situation. This project is based on an article by , Why I Stopped Being A Grammar Snob (and why you probably should, too), which is printed on the inside of the outer cover.

Seeking to raise awareness through illustrative and typographic means of interesting linguistic quirks, as well as promoting a more descriptive/flexible approach to language and grammar through highlighting its many variations, ISOGLOSS underlines that "how people use language is how language works."

This was my Final Year Project for my BA in VIsual Communications at LSAD.
