Brief: A one week photo journalism project titled 'Real Cornwall'
After my initial ideas for this project did not turn out to plan, I decided to spend the day walking around Falmouth with my camera with no initial intention of who or what I wanted to photograph. I spent the day chatting to different characters who I had not expected to come across. Spending the day really observing my surrounds and talking to the people who live here in Cornwall gave me a good impression of who I think the people of 'Real Cornwall' truly are.
The photograph below is what I chose for my final image. I found Issac dosing on the beach enjoying some valuable lesuire time, something the people of Cornwall have not forgotten the importance of.
They know how to relax.
They are cooperative.
They cherish their own.
They are dog people.
They are sentimental.
They get asked for photos every damn year.
