RETHINK REUSE RECONNECT
The project was about recycling materials from the society and make a product that will be useful to the society. We had to design a product for old age people near NID campus using waste material. We decided to go to the waste yard in ahmedabad and study how waste separated and the whole system. After that we decided the place where our product should we keep and the target users.
After doing many explorations with different waste materials, we used waste tyres to make seating near NID Campus in Ahmedabad. The technique we used was drilling and welding for joinery. The seating was fixed in the soil so no one can take out very easily. It is recycled and comfortable seating. Whole idea of the project is to connect the old people with the rest of the society and Make them feel Comfortable.
