Feet: A Diptych
The Fine Line Between Life and Death
The difference between life and death is quite drastic, isn't it?

Our feet propel us through life and headlong into death. When we crawl along the floor as babies, we understand people by their feet - the one with red toenails, the one with hair between the toes, the one that always wears socks. And then people celebrate when we learn to stand and walk on our own feet. And we dance, sprint, stumble, and stand through the most significant moments of our life (and the mundane moments). And when we die, the tag is hooked around your toe. Feet carry us through everything, and share the burden of each particular lifestyle. So what better image captures the whole of our existence?
