In this assignment, I was interested in developing a design of a movie poster. The movie is Pyscho (1960), a film by the director Alfred Hitchcock.
My two (2) primary tasks in this assignment were:
1. Researched and understood the cultural context and the visual dynamics of the film.
2. Understand a method – classical rhetorical devices and developed appropriate interpretative imagery.
This methodology helped me explore various interpretations of the movie and helped me go beyond any expected, cliche visual imagery.
Trim size of the poster is 11" x 17."
