MDMFA Thesis Project

For the development of this project, the look and feel were crucial. The colors had changed drastically during the development. Images were updated to better fit a Novel experience. Shapes and Lines were changed to better align with it and convey the message of Novelty.
The brand vision board was the next step after the look and feel. Here, the typefaces, taglines, and onlyness statement were written. The first iteration was very contained and had no breathing room. The second iteration cleaned this up by organizing the colors and images. The text was also presented in a way that made it much easier to read than the first one.

A total of 33 different sketches were created for Mandy Madison. Most of these sketches were inspired by musical artists and their logos. Most of them are more focused on the musical side rather than a select few that convey Novelty or have a deeper meaning behind them.
Out of the 33 sketches created for Mandy Madison, a careful selection process led to the final 6. These were then refined to a final iteration before being digitally recreated. Sketches 1 and 4 effectively conveyed Novelty and Mandy’s musical side, with the first logo featuring a VR headset in front of a musical vinyl and the second a musical player with a bar.
Before any more work was done, the brand vision boards were once again reassessed to ensure they would be ready for the next stages of the design project. In this section, the logo was updated after receiving feedback from the instructors that brought up scalability issues. The inner circles were narrowed down from ten to a singular one. The colors were again updated, and the Typefaces were updated to fit the project better.
This is a hoodie and mug mockup for Swag X3. Professor Kratz recommended using the sparkled image as it would work harmoniously with the logo and could be applied to all visual elements.
The other mockups include a Computer with a Facebook page and a radio ad for the Mandy Madison Experience.
This radio ad tested what I had learned many months earlier in Effective Copywriting as I wrote the copy for the 30-second ad, which featured Mandy Madison discussing her tour and providing listeners with information about it.
The logo Animation here was designed like something you would see at a Mandy Madison concert: a VR headset zooming out, vinyl rolling in, and her letters raining in one by one.
