'Are Unicorns Marsupials?' & Other Online Oddities Laser Cut Book
May 2011

Laser cut book, bound with a 3 hole pamphlet stitch.

This design was created for my final project in my first year at Winchester School of Art. We had to choose a topic based on an area of the internet and create a book which represented it.

I chose 'questions and answers' and investigated into how true the things we find on the web really are.
The term 'Googling' is a common one nowadays and going on from that, I looked at question and answer sites, where you can ask about a subject and be bombarded with replies from all over the world.

As I researched further, I realised that not all of the questions were strictly serious. Some questions provoke amusing answers, others are just downright silly! And so, this book is all about seeing for yourself the funny, strange and the mad, making up your own mind about the askers and the asked.
