Political Illustration

Back in the days when George II was king (um, president) I envisioned how he saw himself, versus reality. I made one sculpture out of polymer clay with a wire armature, and took photos of it in different positions.

Here is my take on Hillary Clinton, after all her political adventures and battles. The sculpture is made of polymer clay (fired) over a metal armature, with added mixed media. It stands about 11 inches tall.

President Obama, now facing enemies and threats at home and abroad as he contemplates his legacy. Polymer clay over a wire mesh and plaster skull armature, then photographed and enhanced in PhotoShop. Somewhat inspired by the work of Steve Brodner, who I greatly admire.
