Usina de Imagem Contest
This illustration arose from a proposal for a contest by the Image Factory school, in which it was required to create 5 illustrations, each with a specific theme: sloth, kettle, surprise, octopus, and dress/ wear.
My solution was to create a story based on these 5 themes that would transform into a large canvas. I used the themes both literally and subjectively. The technique used was intended to mimic a painting in ink.
The entire image encapsulates the intricate processes of nature, illustrating the delicate balance between tranquility and chaos. It showcases how seemingly serene elements can coexist with underlying turmoil. Moreover, it underscores the transformation of initially unassuming rocks into valuable resources for humanity.
