The prospect of a fall and the destruction of a natural heritage are the two central themes of this project called "Lumberjack".

In the Brazilian cerrado, the Tamboril (Enterolobium contortisiliquum) is born, a tree that can reach up to 35 metres, with a wide, leafy canopy and which produces a black, contorted, indehiscent pod with hard, yellowish seeds.

 For some it is a source of dense shade, a natural beauty, a story, for others a nuisance. The photo essay depicts its pruning, the opening of wounds.
