In a series of posters that reflect on scales. I played around with texture and typography to convey my ideas. To represent the scale of my circle, I drew a giant coal tablet and used its texture to represent the color blue. I also added a pink fat pattern to the poster.
This all comes into play when translating the Saudi saying I used in my design which is:
في سلسلة من الملصقات التي تعكس الأحجام المختلفة. لقد تلاعبت بالملمس والطباعة لتوصيل أفكاري. لتمثيل حجم دائرتي، قمت برسم لوح فحم عملاق واستخدمت قوامه لتمثيل اللون الأزرق. أضفت أيضًا نمطًا ورديًا من الدهون إلى الملصق

Which translates to, Not all white is fat "good" and Not all black is coal "bad".
These posters were the outcome of a 4-day workshop for the design community, conducted by Kawakeb Studio - a studio specializing in visual arts and communication based in Beirut, Lebanon. The workshop aimed to provide an interactive learning experience focused on designing and producing posters using the Riso printing technique. Although the participants designed their posters independently, they all contributed to creating a connected series of posters that visually represented the concept of range. These posters were exhibited at Tanween, Ithra 2023.
هذه الملصقات هي نتيجة ورشة عمل مدتها 4 أيام لمجتمع التصميم بقيادة استوديو الكواكب، وهو استوديو متخصص في الفنون البصرية والتواصل من قلب بيروت، لبنان. ركزت الورشة على تقديم تجربة تعليمية تفاعلية تتمحور حول تصميم وإنتاج الملصقات باستخدام تقنية الطباعة ريزو، وعلى الرغم من أن المشاركين صمموا ملصقاتهم بشكل فردي، إلا أنهم جميعاً شاركوا في إنشاء سلسلة متصلة من الملصقات التي تجسد فكرة النطاق، هذه تم عرض الملصقات في تنوين، إثراء 2023.
