In my Typography classes, we were tasked with creating typefaces. The first typeface is one that is meant to represent an important place to us. I decided to use West Palm Beach, FL as my inspiration here. At the time, my parents lived there and I grew to enjoy the area. I designed the typeface in a way that mimicked the architecture in the arches I would see in the buildings there. The second typeface is meant to be an experimental one, with the requirement being that I cannot use roman letters. For mine, I decided to use flowers and have it so that the name of the flower starts with the letter it is meant to represent.
