Certainly one of the
                                most
                                appealing
creatures in nature.
Characterized by sizable,
                                   brilliantly
                                            colored wings
that fold together when at rest
            and a conspicuous,
                                     fluttering,
                                               flirty
                                                  flight.
Many species make use of
camouflage,
             mimicry,
                     and aposematism
                     to evade their predators.
Widely used in objects of art and jewelry
            mounted in frames,
                        embedded in resin,
                                   displayed in bottles,
                                              and laminated in paper.
            Without defenses
they protect themselves through a flight
            more unpredictable
than other species.
It's assumed this behavior makes it
more difficult for
                        predators
to catch them.
