The Digital Library of Living Tradition, Intangible Jordanian Heritage | UI/UX, Digital System
Audiovisual and multimedia Communication Design for Cultural Heritage, Conservation and Valorization.
As a communication, audiovisual, and multimedia designer, I have integrated the Imagislab Team at Politecnico Di Milano in collaboration with the Jordanian Department of Antiquities of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the AICS ( Italian Agency for Development Cooperation).
My key task were the documentation of the cultural heritage and development of the Digital Library of Living Traditions, a web-based tool designed to document the traditional techniques of fabrication of Jordanian cultural and folkloric products. Through design of audiovisual projects and graphic identities, including informative academic motion graphics, logos, storyboarding, organization of titles, additional video editing, captions, credits, opening and ending sequences, bilingual academic technical terms translation and research.
As well as academic infographics organization, bilingual typographic research, English and Arabic translations of the Jordanian Department of Antiquities documents, UI/UX, Identity design development for the Museum of Popular Tradition and Jordanian Folklore Museum's interactive flipbooks and the Digital Library of Living Tradition Website.
As a member of the Italian team, I am responsible for ensuring that the contents and storytelling schematics of the Digital Library are seamlessly translated in Italian, English, and Arabic within my team and project. I also oversee the visual identity of future Jordanian museum institutions related to the Digital Library, and the effective storytelling and representation within the multimedia cultural contents of the program in its integrality.
