This project explores the complex world of feelings that arise at various points in life, including hope, loneliness, contentment with one's own development, and a range of other negative and positive emotions. It focuses on the particular obstacles (but also breakthroughs) of adjusting to life in a foreign country with its own culture— a viewpoint that is sometimes idealised through Instagram photos but that can be incredibly alienating. The project also explores the difficulties of altering one's career path and other typical life transitions. This is a very personal project, a work in progress where real stories are hidden beneath the surface and are revealed with patience and a deep sense of the complexity of human experience.
