Poster & Social Media Project
For this project, I was tasked with creating a poster and three coordinating social media posts for an event of my choosing. Inspired by my love for animation, I chose a sweet-treats themed animation showcase called "Toon Fest" for my event.
I decided to use bright, saturated pinks and magentas for my color palette to keep the design bright and colorful. I was also inspired by the bright colors of donuts, candies, and other confections. I leaned towards more saturated colors for areas of interest (ex. the girl, the title, the bubble) and less saturated colors to balance those colors out.
I also decided on a hand-drawn look for the title to give it a fun and lively feel and I placed the title on both the poster and the social media post to help tie them together.
