Morgan State University - HHSC

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The images depicted highlight Morgan State University's latest addition: a state-of-the-art Health and Human Services Center tailored to house a multitude of university departments. Among these are the Family and Consumer Sciences Department, Medical Technology, School of Social Work, School of Community Health and Policy, Public Health Nursing, Health Education, Pre-Physical Therapy, and Public Health Nutrition Science.
In my role on this project, I assumed oversight of all Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) aspects. This encompassed meticulous attention to detail in selecting furnishings and equipment that aligned seamlessly with the functional and aesthetic requirements of each department. Furthermore, I conducted thorough site visits to ensure that finishes adhered precisely to the detailed finish drawings, maintaining consistency and quality throughout the facility.
Additionally, I played a pivotal role in contributing to the partial lighting design, collaborating closely with design teams to create an environment that balanced functionality, energy efficiency, and ambiance. By integrating my expertise into these various facets of the project, I aimed to ensure that the Health and Human Services Center not only met but exceeded the expectations of Morgan State University and its diverse array of departments.
