This assignment focused on taking a typeface that a fellow classmate created and showcasing it in a poster. My classmate, Aaliyah, created this typeface named “Squiffy”. Squiffy is a word meaning slightly drunk. When looking at this typeface, I was immediately drawn to the boxy nature of it. It reminded me of Tetris. With that in mind, I decided to create a poster that utilized all of the letters and numbers  in the typeface. I incorporated the “slightly drunk” definition in the way that some of the letters are skewed or upside down. Squiffy is available for download on Fontstruct.com. Poster size: 18 x 24”
