The Looking Glass is a project on the theme of embracing social identities. Taking the form of a gender transformative education toolkit, the team of The Looking Glass has leveraged multimodal pedagogies to explore power and gender to produce resources for formal and informal learning. Funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund, the United Kingdom Research Initiative (UKRI), the University of Bristol, and the Education, Justice, and Memory (EdJam) Network, and supported and developed by The Lahore University of Management Sciences, this project has three deliverables - A Resource pack, a Doccu-series, and a Storybook. 


The Docuseries 
responsibilities: art direction + illustration team(colourist) + organisation and management of video shoots
The Looking Glass includes a 6-episode docuseries that explores the themes of power, gender, and history in the context of Pakistan. It serves as a pedagogical resource by itself and it can be combined with activities featured in the Curricular Resource Pack.

The Curricular Resource Pack 
responsibilities: lead designer and illustrator
The Curricular Resource Pack serves as a learning and teaching toolkit intended to be used in combination with the docuseries. It connects the content covered in the docuseries with its underlying primary and secondary research, theoretical framework, and academic positioning.

Moonbow: Illustrated Storybook
responsibilities: lead designer (print design + compilation) 
Moonbow is an illustrated anthology of six short stories that explore themes of power, identity, and violence.
