APODEX BRAND GUIDE

APODEX is a brand that features collaboration between Techies from different parts of the world. So, let's get cooking...
Using Gestalt Principles, I created a logo symbol depicting the letter "A" which is the first letter for Apodex. It can stand on its own and can stand with its other compatriots.
So, what this is the full logic depiction of APODEX?
Considering the keywords ingrained into the Brand - Professionals, Community, Collaborations on projects and a house full of Techies, I depicted each quality in the design as described above.
What I love about the "A" in the identity is the ability to stand alone. It can stand on its own and can even be used as a backdrop or a pattern.
The next question would be "Why choose this colour theme?"
It is common knowledge that the color for Tech is blue, even though we've had diversities based on diverse Brand's Missions and Visions, I decided to go traditional with Blue.
Now, to create a sense of professionalism, a highly saturated blue or popped up blue would be too highlighted and loud. To create a sense of calmness, I decided to go with Lagoon Blue and Fountain Blue which according to the sea prospects are calmer than oceans and deep seas.

With this in mind, the blending concepts just aligned just right.
And the typeface- Poppins - is a sans-Serif font that sits right with formal and freedom from official restrictions. It is clear, simple, not competitive and it has a lot of fonts to go with it.
Some of the applications for the Brand are Company Cards, Letterheads, Tshirts, Fezcaps, among others. Wondering what Tshirts and fezcaps signify?
Well, though the Brand screams "SERIOUS", it is still a Tech Company. Totally formal but with a certain sense of freedom and less restrictions. So, Techies love a good old shorts/pants/joggers donned with a nice tshirt and a fezcap.
So, every Tech Company has got to watch out for these two when creating an identity.
