This illustrated sequence aims to answer in a creative way one of the most common questions a kid can ask: Why do stars shine?
The main purpose of this project was to create a fictional, entertaining, and visually appealing explanation to the question. The cartoonish character design along with the vivid color palette defined the universe and tone within the answer. The final result was later implemented in a toy prototype that exploited the cyclic nature of the sequence in order to create interaction.
