3D Project 2: Meleon
This is a 3D turnaround of Meleon, another creature I modelled for an earlier 3D Modeling and Animation I assignment. I originally designed Meleon as a monster of the week for my 'Warriors of the Rising Sun' cartoon universe, and I decided to translate it into a 3D Model. Like the Brainsucker, Meleon has UV textures to look realistic, but it is not fully rigged. I also came up with some background info below:
Meleon, The Camouflage Akumon
Height: 6-7 ft. tall
Weight: 8,000-12,000 lbs.
In order to stalk its victims, a Meleon will change its skin color to blend in perfectly with its surroundings. The only way to detect a camouflaged Meleon is to listen for its footsteps.
