Jaiden is an American Youtuber Animator who brings her personal stories and gaming experiences to life through her animations ! She's also known for her pet bird named Ari, which has also become part of her branding.
My previous concept for this project had a lot of Pokémon references. As Jaiden herself is a huge fan of the franchise, I thought including her interest in heavily would fit the objective for this project. Hence why some of my work in progress features some Pokémon theme (e.g. Pokéball, Lickitung Pokémon, etc. ). However, I received feedback, which I also agree with, that it turned out more of a Pokémon channel rather than Jaiden's branding.
Therefore, I completely removed it and revolved the project around Jaiden's bird, Ari, to stick closer to her branding !
Even though Jaiden Animations mainly does 2D animations & that her works aren't fully coloured, I thought a vibrant & colourful 3D channel branding would make her videos stand out more and that it wouldn't clash with her original style !
