Nas Palhinhas is part of a folk-powered series of posters in which the previous Ganda Galo & Bulemania is included being part.1&2. Again, this familiar series is contextualized by a tender neighborhood, taking action on the client's brief and being part of the event as an extra clue!
A simple small project holding 1 poster, 1 flyers and digital media promotion to present a handicraft event in which more than 40 sculptures have been re-invented by the hands of the fellow artisans and artists from S. João da Madeira. The sculpture? Christ's Nativity! The illustration? The re-interpretation and critics re-contextualizing the scene in folk and trivia through traditional illustration and over-contemporary composition! The intention? To be neutral, impactful and edgy! Borrowing from the previous the systematic method: through collage and thought, new media and illustration, a new piece is born each time fed by tradition: a free-flowing workflow that embraces the error and the mistake as a traditional tool. These events are projects for the people, thinking of the countryside, the rural, the passion & devotion to  the tradition, and, clearly: teapots!
