For this project, I decided to explore the design of art supplies and the specific forms of materials they come in (boxes, bags, and even pouches, from what I’ve seen). I planned on making a fictional company called Vivico, in which I wanted to use a vivid design for each product in art supplies. I have a few designs regarding the logo itself, initially going for an oval design of a rainbow in the back, to finally choosing a prism-like effect within the first “V” in the name. Unlike most art products, the Vivico brand uses lighter designs contained in the packaging, making this brand unique and memorable in its simplicity.
