This fabrication project consisted of several layers of laser cut birch plywood. I started by mapping out how to convert a 2D logo into a 3D logo. After some test runs, each layer was carefully separated and converted using vector software, which was then sent to the laser cutter. Once cut, I spray painted each piece of wood and assembled them to create this layered sign.
