Unisys is a multinational leader in information technology services and consulting. Throughout its 150 year history, Unisys has continually reinvented itself to deliver technological innovation. We reimagined their brand to align its expression with their ambition and vision. In the new visual identity, 3D blooms continually grow to create an atmosphere of innovation, optimism, and possibility. In the new logo, as the curved lines intersect a new form is created highlighting Unisys' ability to grow through reinvention. The new brand establishes an optimistic outlook, and reminds us that every individual and business has creative potential to be unlocked.

At the center of the updated brand identity is a new logo. In the symbol, as the curved lines cross an unexpected new form is created highlighting Unisys' ability to grow through reinvention. The repeated u and n letterforms reinforce the idea of the two words that combine to make Unisys, “united” and “system.” The green presents a fresh perspective, growing plant blooms, and an energized attitude. In the color palette, vibrant greens are reminiscent of plant blooms, and bright colors remind of the joy to be found in pushing past what was previously though possible.

3D blooms continually grow to create an atmosphere of innovation, optimism, and possibility. Stylistic variations of the 3D blooms were created for different contexts including: Curious Bloom, Continuous Bloom, and Collaborative Bloom. The typeface, Tomato Grotesk, captures the beautiful curvature and unexpected flourishes of plant blooms.
