This Posterzine is about a typeface called Shorif Suborno Bijoy, developed by Shorif Uddin Shishir. The collection of Bijoy typeface are huge and expansive. The typeface I have used is called Shorif Suborno Bijoy which was developed by Shorif Uddin Shishir on the 8th of December 2020. The word “Bijoy” in Bangla means Victory. Mustafa Jabbar believed that the success of creating the right brand name rests upon how effectively the name can touch the heart of the people and at the same time reflect the characteristics of the products. Having that in mind he planned to launched the f irst version of Bijoy on the same day Bangladesh celebrates Victory day on the 16th of December 1988 . Bijoy is the first-ever Bangla language based typeface for your Windows PC. It has variety of different writing styles. Bijoy is the first of its kind which brings all 454 characters of Bangla alphabet under 26 font-based keys on computer typing.
This typeface was been deprived from the Bangla language. "Bangla" is the name of the language spoken in the country of Bangladesh and in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is also one of the 22 official languages of India. "Bangali" refers to the people who speak the Bengali language, or who have cultural roots in the Bengal region, which includes Bangladesh and West Bengal. The Bengali language is also known as Bengali or Bangla, and it is the seventh most spoken language in the world, with over 230 million speakers. The Bengali script is derived from the Brahmi script and is written from left to right. It is an Indo-Aryan language and has a rich literary tradition, with works by famous poets and writers such as Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam.
