Project 3 – sketching
Luxurious inflatable sofa
Beginning with one idea showing elevation, plan and end view
Branched out into different styles of sofas, exploring angular and round shapes
Focused on a typical sofa style with inflatable elements, with the addition of marker to show the curves and ridges
Final design with an acrylic plastic back and suede seat, with different marker colours to showcase the different materials
Torch for rock climbers
A range of different torch designs, with many features such as a brightness adjustor, handle, and earpiece
An idea similar to headphones featuring a front view and plan. The design includes adjustors for size and brightness, an on/off button, and a padded material for comfort
Perspective drawing of the torch with an earpiece. The perspective view helps to communicate features and positioning
Final design of the earpiece torch. The earpiece fits comfortably around the user's ear and is made from a comfortable rubber material. The design features a brightness adjustor and an on/off button
