The archeology of silence

Photos were taken in the period from 1990 till 1994 in Georgia. This period is considered to be the most calm and silent in my life. However the memory about these events are reflected only through photography. I am studying my unconscious period in the past, primary through recovery and analysis of the environment that I have left behind.I always question what if I have not left for Moscow during the Civil war in Georgia how would my life develop?” Project “archeology of silence” is the representation of this two parallel realities. Distorted and the real. Photos are the documentation. However sketches made from photos are the expression of the distorted reality.  Using white pencil on the black paper helps me to express more intensively the parts of the movements and faces from the photography that I will try to use in the final finished work. Sketches are considered to express violence. The final work will be created with the technique of supplying the PVA Glue on the canvas.
